Marriage and General Counseling
Counseling has been a taboo subject in church circles for some time. We are trying to dispel that myth and encourage those who need extra help to seek out pastoral and professional counseling. Many of us have already sought out counseling, but haven't called it such. We sought pastoral advice in seeking God's direction in life, marriage advice, child rearing help, career direction, and prayer requests. In these situations we were, in a sense, receiving counseling. All of these subjects often require the outside perspective of a mature Christian.
If you have general counseling needs, please contact one of our pastoral staff to set up an appointment. If it is an issue beyond our expertise, then we will happily refer you to a professional.
